The Feather
shoe from Sex in the
City has been reconceived
as a platform sandal in violet suede with hand appliedpeacock-blue feathers studded with crystals. The original Murial sandal that featured a gold embellished flower has been reimagined in zebra-print pony and topped with a flouncy red-silk corsage flower. And Fleur, the classic pointy-toe stiletto, has been re-executed in metallic fuchsia leather with laser-cut detailing. Each shoe from the ICONS collection will be packaged in a special commemorative box that will include a card explaining the heritage of the item. Ten percent of the net sales of ICONS shoes will be donated to the Jimmy Choo Foundation.
The
Jimmy Choo
Foundation will be a non-profit charitable trust that empowers women and others
by helping them to lead healthier and safer lives. The Jimmy
Choo Foundation will be established
following the ideals of its chairperson, Tamara
Mellon OBE.
