The royal wedding has arrived, and it sure was fancy! The blushing bride, Kate Middleton, stunned in an Alexander McQueen gown, while Prince William looked dapper and utterly swoon-worthy in uniform. Check out the new royal couple, and all the lucky guests wearing proper morning dress attire and outrageous fascinator hats.
The bride was absolutely breathtaking this morning in her Alexander McQueen gown. Creative director Sarah Burton used hand-cut English lace and French Chantilly lace throughout the bodice and skirt, while the ivory and white satin gazar skirt was designed to emulate a flower. How lovely! We liked Kate’s sweetheart bodice and the lace sleeves, and her ensemble looked both retro and modern at the same time, especially with her hair refreshingly worn down. he 1936 Cartier halo tiara was lent to her by Queen Elizabeth, but her diamond drop earrings were wedding present from her parents.

The bridesmaids : As is British tradition, the little ladies were dressed similarly to the bride, and their dresses were made by British designer Nicki Macfarlane using the same fabric as Kate’s McQueen gown.

Unlike some of the more colorful guests, a seven months pregnant Victoria Beckham donned a more somber, dark navy dress from her own fall collection, with a matching Philp Treacy pillbox hat and Christian Louboutins.
David Beckham looked dashing as ever in a Ralph Lauren Purple Label suit with charcoal morning coat, slicked back hair, and a top hat.
